Trade license is a document/certificate that grants permission to carry on a particular business or trade. Every business establishments need to take the required licenses before starting the activity. Trade license regulations are laid down by the State Government, which is entrusted with the task of regulating and observing the trade within a city.
The trade license are presently being issued by the respective Deputy Commissioners of all the 16 districts and Additional Deputy Commissioners of independent charges.
